                                                DIARY –WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 20th 2006

Most of the day was spent writing up web pages, including a review of TV’s Life On Mars, and preparing to transfer many book and website reviews to my own web pages.

DIARY –THURSDAY DECEMBER 21st 2006

Much as yesterday, as I was rarely away from the computer, though I made excellent progress and I should now finish the job before Christmas, if I have sufficient web space left.

I got some nice Xmas cards from my regiment friends and others. The night ended with a surprise pre-Xmas visit from my cousin, Linda who popped round to wish my parents and myself the joys of the season.

                                                DIARY –FRIDAY DECEMBER 22cd 2006

More computer updating, but at least there’s n end in sight and a promise of getting out for beer tonight.

Started the epic struggle to launch my new book review pages, which as I expected, strained my FTP provider to its limits, crashing my system repeatedly. I had to delete several photos off my picture pages to make room for them. Finished it though.

Visited my mate Tom at the Church where he works. He was kind enough to give me a card and a Christmas Present.

Called from there to the Fringe Bar, for drinks with my regimente chums. Good to see our friend Alec has come over from Zurich for the holidays.

Got home to shocking news that the party I was expecting to go to tomorrow was actually on tonight. I’d missed it. My fault for not reading the invite closely enough. Doh!

                                                DIARY –SATURDAY DECEMBER 22cd 2006

Spent most of today writing e-mails, reading and working online. I created two new trivia pages.  WHO WOULD I BE? (Speculation on which characters I would be in various shows and books and films, and in history - a fun game you'll want to play too). WOULD I DO IT?  What I would dare to try or not, given the opportunity.  (Again, you'll want to play this yourself.).

The rest of the eve of Xmas Eve was spent just watching TV.
