TRASH THE DRESS

We played paintball, and I let myself fall

In the mud during the assault course run

Before we went off swimming around, all

Fully dressed while we messed – Oh, so much fun.

Trash the dress is all the rage nowadays

It’s not like I’ll ever wear it again

Even trashing my husband if he plays

Around and completely fails to explain

And having to remarry, I won’t glide

Down the church aisle dressed in a virgin’s white

So I wore it on the big water-slide

Before the bridesmaids and I had a food fight

There’s not many tears or much of a mess

The corset’s covered in custard and peas

I guess I should have bought my own dress

But can I have the deposit back, please?
